ZYGUNT STASZEWSKI FROM BLURTON SENTENCED FOR DECADES-OLD SEX CRIMES IN STOKE-ON-TRENT

In August 2021, a disturbing case emerged involving Zygmunt Staszewski, a man with a dark past rooted in the Stoke-on-Trent area, specifically from Blurton. The court proceedings revealed that Staszewski, now aged 69, was convicted of multiple sexual offenses committed over four decades ago, crimes that had long-lasting effects on his victim.

Staszewski, a former miner residing on Trentham Road in Blurton, faced serious charges including seven counts of indecent assault and four counts of indecency with a child. Despite his initial denial of these allegations, he was found guilty on all 11 charges after a trial held earlier this year.
