MAN WHO RAPED AND SEXUALLY ASSAULTED A WOMAN HAS BEEN JAILED

A man who committed sexual offenses against a woman in Stoke-on-Trent has been sentenced to prison.

Flauberd Njumbe, aged 31 and from Blurton in Stoke-on-Trent, received a sentence of six years and one month in prison at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Wednesday, February 4.

He had earlier admitted to two charges of raping a woman, two counts of sexual assault on a female, and one charge of failing to respond to police bail.

The criminal acts occurred in 2024.

Additionally, as part of his punishment, Njumbe is now subject to lifelong registration under the Sex Offenders Register.
