WILLIAM FORD FROM KELTY EXPOSED AS SERIAL SEX ABUSER IN FIFE
William Ford, a 62-year-old driving instructor hailing from the town of Kelty in Fife, has been revealed as a serial sex offender responsible for assaulting at least five of his female pupils. The disturbing misconduct took place over a period of time, with Ford preying on vulnerable young women and teenagers during or immediately after their driving lessons.According to reports, Ford would often wait until his victims, who were mostly teenagers or women in their early twenties, were nearing the end of their lessons. It was during these moments that he would commit his assaults, which involved groping and attempting to kiss the victims without their consent. The nature of his misconduct has caused significant distress among those affected, many of whom have come forward to share their traumatic experiences.
The investigation into Ford’s actions was initiated after one of his victims’ parents decided to report him to the police. This report prompted a thorough inquiry, during which authorities interviewed all of Ford’s female students. Shockingly, eight women came forward, each claiming to have been attacked by him during their lessons. One of the victims, a 20-year-old woman, described how Ford’s assault left her scarred emotionally and psychologically. She recounted an incident where he attempted to kiss her and inappropriately touched her after a driving session, leaving her feeling violated and distressed.
Another victim, a 19-year-old hairdresser, revealed that Ford assaulted her inside his car during a lesson. She described the experience as shocking and deeply upsetting, highlighting the trauma inflicted by his actions. The allegations against Ford were taken seriously, and he was subsequently charged with multiple counts of assault.
Ford appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court, where he admitted to five charges of assaulting young women. As a result of his guilty pleas, he was placed on the Sex Offenders' Register, a move designed to monitor his activities and prevent further harm. His sentencing has been deferred until January 11, pending the outcome of a psychiatric assessment, which will help determine his mental state and suitability for rehabilitation or incarceration.
Throughout the proceedings, Ford has refused to make any public comments regarding the allegations. Nevertheless, his reputation has been severely damaged, and authorities have publicly identified and discredited him to warn others about his misconduct. The case has sparked concern within the local community of Kelty and the wider Fife area, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding vulnerable individuals from predatory behavior by those in positions of trust.
