December 2015 Paedophile jailed for haul of 24,000 indecent images A 43-YEAR-OLD man who made more than 24,000 indecent images of children has been jailed for three years. Wai Tse appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday to be sentenced for seven counts of making indecent photographs of children, one count of attempting to make indecent photographs of children and one count of possession of seven extreme pornographic images between November 2011 and August 2013.  Jurors unanimously convicted Tse, of the offences on September 29 after a four-day trial. Prosecutor William Eaglestone said the indecent images, which included about 800 videos, were found by officers on Tse’s Dell laptop and external hard drive after a raid in August 2013. He said the defendant was living with his sister and her three-year-old daughter at their Kidlington home at the time. Defence barrister Julian Lynch said Tse, who had no previous convictions, had a low risk of reoffending and had not posed a risk to his young niece. Judge Patrick Eccles said he was forced to hand Tse a custodial sentence as the high number of indecent images, which involved “very young children”, were also made available to others via a live-stream. Tse, of St Mary’s Avenue, Bletchley, near Milton Keynes, must sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for life, pay a victim’s surcharge and was handed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. DC Emma Thompson, of Force CID in Oxford, said she was pleased at the sentence.
