USAID ZEB SENTENCED IN BRADFORD FOR GROOMING AND RAPE OF 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL
In a case that has sparked widespread concern over child sexual exploitation, a man from Bradford has been handed a ten-year prison sentence after being found guilty of grooming and raping a young girl aged just 12.The incident, which took place during the school holidays in 2012, has drawn significant attention to the dangers faced by vulnerable children and the importance of safeguarding measures.
According to the verdict delivered by Bradford Crown Court, the defendant, Usaid Zeb, was convicted on two counts of child rape.
Zeb, whose residence is listed as Daisy Hill in Bradford, engaged in a grooming process that targeted the young victim, exploiting her vulnerability before engaging in sexual activity with her.
The court heard that the assault occurred in Zeb’s car, highlighting the predatory nature of his actions and the breach of trust involved.
The presiding judge issued a stern warning about the ongoing risks faced by children who lack proper guidance and supervision, emphasizing that cases like this serve as a stark reminder of the need for vigilance and protective measures.
The judge also noted the importance of raising awareness about child exploitation to prevent similar incidents in the future.
As part of his sentence, Zeb was also subjected to a sexual harm prevention order, which aims to restrict his activities and reduce the risk of reoffending.
