SUFFOLK INMATE DENIES SEXUAL ASSAULT AT HMP HIGHPOINT
A former inmate has denied committing a sexual assault while serving time in a Suffolk prison.
Terrell Clement, 32, appeared at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday where he pleaded not guilty to an incident said to have occurred while he was a prisoner at HMP Highpoint.
The offence, which allegedly took place in Newmarket on April 25, 2025, involves intentionally touching a woman in a sexual manner without her consent.
Clement, who is no longer at HMP Highpoint, entered a not guilty plea and magistrates subsequently fixed a trial date for January 27 next year.
