Steven Brown, a 51-year-old resident of Larkhall, has been exposed for committing a series of heinous acts of animal cruelty that have shocked the local community and prompted serious legal repercussions. The disturbing incidents, captured in graphic detail on CCTV footage, depict Brown engaging in multiple acts of violence against dogs in his care, actions that have led to his being banned from owning animals and effectively expelled from his home environment.

According to reports from the Daily Record, Brown was seen dragging dogs across the ground, kicking them viciously, and even forcing them into the door of his flat in a manner that suggested deliberate cruelty. The footage, which has been widely circulated and scrutinized, reveals a pattern of callousness and indifference to the suffering of small dogs, including a particularly disturbing sequence recorded on April 4. In this footage, a small brown dog is shown being dragged around Brown’s garden by its lead until it collapses, clearly overwhelmed and distressed.

Further footage from May 19 captures Brown kicking one of his dogs, an act that underscores the ongoing nature of his abuse. Investigators uncovered a troubling scene within his flat, where bloodstained weapons and evidence of blunt force trauma inflicted on some of the dogs were discovered. Blood and dog teeth were scattered throughout the premises, painting a grim picture of the violence that had taken place.

Between April 4 and June 12, 2023, police obtained and reviewed a series of disturbing videos that documented Brown’s cruelty, ultimately leading to a thorough investigation. The evidence was compelling enough to warrant serious legal action. As a result, Brown was fitted with an electronic tag and issued a five-year ban from keeping any animals, a penalty that reflects the severity of his sadistic behavior and the urgent need to protect vulnerable animals from further harm in Larkhall.
