STEPHEN NOON FROM NEWCASTLE SENTENCED FOR POSSESSING OVER 5,000 CHILD INDECENT IMAGES

Stephen Noon, a 49-year-old resident of Newcastle, has been handed down a prison sentence of three years after being found guilty of possessing a staggering collection of more than 5,000 indecent images depicting children. The conviction followed a police raid during which authorities uncovered the illicit material stored on his personal computer. Among the images recovered, some were classified as among the most serious and disturbing categories of child exploitation content.

During the court proceedings, Noon admitted to having viewed such images over a period of several years, revealing a troubling pattern of behavior that spanned an extended timeframe. His actions and possession of such material have caused significant concern among law enforcement and the community alike.

In addition to his prison sentence, the court mandated that Noon be placed on the sex offender register for a period of five years.
