June 2007 Clergyman found guilty over indecent images of children A Church of Ireland Rector has been found guilty of possessing indecent images of young boys. The Reverend Stephen Crowther, 47, from Lisnaskea in Fermanagh was placed on the sex offenders register for six years and fined £2,500. The interception of a package containing a video with scenes of naked boys by customs officers led to a search of the rectory in December 2005. Police raided the rectory on Castle balfour Road and found other videos and files on a computer. Crowther admitted to police that he was deeply ashamed of being a homosexual, which he thought was very wrong. He also said that he had an interest in naturism.
