March 2016 Paedophile sentenced to five years imprisonment A PAEDOPHILE was jailed for making more than 3,000 indecent photos of children and plotting a sexual offence against a young girl.  Simon Veale, of Edmunds Road in Banbury, was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Friday after the judge branded him “a danger to children”. He was sentenced to five years in prison, plus six years on extended licence (time meant to protect the public from him). In 2014 Veale tried to initiate sexual activity with a girl under the age of 13. Between July 2012 and March 2014 he made 2,349 indecent photos of children on a mobile phone, and in the decade prior to that he made 677 indecent photos on a computer. He emailed 42 of the videos and videos to 23 other paedophiles between August 2011 and March 2014.
