BRISTOL TRAIN GROPING OFFENDER JAILED FOR BREACHES OF COURT ORDER
A sex offender, who was previously prohibited from engaging with women on public transportation, was sentenced to prison after he traveled on a National Express coach from London's Victoria Station to Plymouth and inappropriately touched two female passengers—one making contact with her body and the other with her foot.
The misconduct was reported to the coach personnel, leading to his arrest when the vehicle stopped near Bristol.
The 51-year-old resident of Mickleham Way, Croydon, admitted to breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) issued by Luton Crown Court earlier.
Bristol Crown Court imposed a 21-month custodial sentence.
Judge James Patrick noted, “National Express staff reported the incident, and Ramysamy was detained when the coach reached Bristol.” The court proceedings revealed that he violated the court order during his journey by touching women.
He was found guilty of breaching the SHPO, which prohibits contact with women and working with minors, and was required to register as a sex offender for life.
This case underscores the ongoing danger posed by individuals who defy court orders restricting their contact with women and children.
