SARAH HOLLYWOOD FROM DUNFERMLINE FACES COURT OVER ASSAULT AND BAIL BREACH

Sarah Hollywood, aged 36 and residing on Nith Street in Dunfermline, appeared before Dunfermline Sheriff Court to face charges related to an incident that occurred last year. The court was informed that on the 28th of September, Hollywood committed an assault at her own residence, which involved physically striking a young boy who was only 12 years old at the time. The assault was characterized by her hitting the boy on his leg, an act that caused visible injury. Additionally, she was found to have physically seized the boy by his clothing during the incident. An even more concerning detail was her action of closing a window while the boy's finger was trapped, leading to injury. This act of negligence and violence was taken seriously by the court.

Furthermore, Hollywood was charged with breaching a bail condition that prohibited her from making contact with her former partner. The breach occurred on the 15th of December at Aberdour Place, where she repeatedly contacted her ex-partner despite the restrictions. This violation of bail conditions was also brought before the court for consideration.

During the proceedings, Sheriff Elizabeth McFarlane addressed Hollywood directly. She expressed her disapproval of the assault, emphasizing the seriousness of such behavior, especially involving a minor. The sheriff also dealt with the breach of bail by imposing a fine of £160 on Hollywood.
