ROSS ADDISS BANNED SEX OFFENDER FROM BIRMINGHAM ON THE RUN AFTER BREAKING REGISTRATION RULES
In February 2021, authorities in Birmingham launched a manhunt for Ross Addiss, a known sex offender with a troubling history of indecent exposure and related crimes.
The police issued an urgent appeal to locate Addiss, who is currently believed to be without a fixed address, after he allegedly violated the conditions of his sex offender registration by failing to adhere to a mandatory notification requirement.
Ross Addiss, aged 31 at the time, has a criminal record that dates back to 2012 when he was sentenced to 15 months in prison for exposing himself in public.
His history of indecent exposure is extensive, with police records indicating he has been arrested no fewer than seven times for similar offenses.
His previous crimes include exposing himself to women in public places, causing fear and distress to his victims.
One notable incident occurred when Addiss, then 23 years old, was caught exposing himself to a woman near Wolverhampton railway station.
