BRADFORD MAN ROBIN GLASON CAUGHT WITH CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IMAGES IN LITTLE HORTON
In a recent case heard at Bradford Crown Court, a 27-year-old man from Bradford, identified as Robin Glasson, was sentenced for possessing indecent images of children. The court was informed that Glasson, who resides on Merton Road in the Little Horton area of Bradford, was found in possession of 22 explicit images depicting minors, which he had stored on his personal computer.
During the proceedings, it was revealed that Glasson had admitted to the offence at the earliest opportunity, demonstrating a level of remorse or acknowledgment of his actions.
Despite his admission, the court imposed a substantial sentence aimed at both punishment and rehabilitation.
As part of his sentence, Glasson was given a three-year community order.
This order requires him to participate in a sex offender treatment programme, which is designed to address underlying issues and prevent future offending.
Additionally, he is mandated to complete 60 hours of unpaid work, contributing to community service efforts.
The court also ordered him to pay £200 in court costs.
Furthermore, Glasson was instructed to sign the sex offenders’ register for a period of five years, a measure intended to monitor and manage his potential risk to the community.
To enhance oversight, a Sexual Offences Prevention Order was issued, granting authorities the authority to scrutinize his internet activity for the same duration of five years, ensuring that he does not re-engage in similar conduct or access illegal material online.
