BLACKBURN MAN JAILED FOR BREACHING RESTRAINING ORDER AFTER ASSAULT
Raymond William Robinson, of Sapphire Street, was initially sentenced to 45 months in prison after attacking his former partner, Helen Bolton.
The article details that he started contacting her again shortly after his release on license.
Robinson, aged 38, pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order and has been recalled to prison to serve the remaining part of his sentence, plus an additional 14 weeks imposed by the magistrates.
It is reported that Robinson had called his previous partner from different phones over a four-day period, causing her to fear for her safety.
Prosecutor Catherine Allan stated, “She was scared of him and told police she thought he was capable of killing her.” The defense argued that since his release from prison, Robinson had been trying to gain access to his daughter through various channels, expressing frustration over his situation and accepting that he will be returning to prison.
