BLACKBURN MAN IN COURT ACCUSED OF SEXUAL OFFENCES
Hassan Hussain, aged 28, did not appear for arraignment during the plea and trial preparation hearing at Preston Crown Court on July 10.Instead, future provisional hearing dates were arranged.
He faces multiple charges, including six counts of non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, four counts of causing or encouraging a girl in that age range to participate in sexual activity (without penetration), three counts of producing indecent images of a child, two counts of causing or encouraging a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity (with penetration), one count of attempted sexual communication with a minor, and one count of blackmail.
The trial is set for November 23, with a pre-trial review scheduled for September 28.
Hussain was kept in custody until a case management hearing on August 10, where he is expected to enter pleas.
