Piotr Krzeslak, aged 40, who has no fixed address but resides in the Ipswich area, was convicted at Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday, November 12.
The incident involved Krzeslak approaching a woman walking alone to her workplace in January, during which he made sexual comments and made threats to kill her.

Krzeslak was taken into custody and charged in early February of this year.
The jury subsequently convicted him of these conduct allegations.
DC Natalie Cole from Ipswich CID commented: “Stalking is a serious and distressing crime which can escalate.
"I would like to commend the bravery of the victim who came forward to report their experience and hope this sentence will encourage other victims of stalking to report it.
"Be assured that we take stalking very seriously and urge you come and talk to us or a third party support group if you have concerns, as we can help.”
