PETER MCKENZIE FROM HEMEL HEMPSTEAD SENTENCED FOR HORRIFIC SEXUAL ABUSE IN ST ALBANS

In a chilling case that shocked the community, Peter McKenzie, a 38-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead, was brought before St Albans Crown Court in August 1989 to face serious criminal charges related to the sexual abuse of young girls. The court heard that McKenzie had committed a series of heinous acts, including four counts of rape, four counts of attempted rape, twelve counts of indecent assault, and four offences of unlawful sexual intercourse. These crimes involved a total of thirteen young girls, some of whom were as young as six years old.

During the proceedings, it was revealed that McKenzie employed manipulative and sinister tactics to lure his victims. He falsely claimed to be a wizard and convinced schoolgirls that engaging in sexual acts with him would grant them entry into his so-called 'magic circle.'
