GALASHIELS STALKER TOOK PHOTOS OF WOMAN AND FOLLOWED HER
Peter MacLeod, a 59-year-old resident of Galashiels, admitted to committing a stalking offence.He confessed to engaging in a pattern of behavior that made a woman feel frightened and distressed.
The court was informed that he sent her text messages and photographs indicating he was present outside her workplace, took distant photos of her with a long lens, and followed her.
These incidents took place at multiple locations within Galashiels from October 2021 through April 14 of this year.
The sentencing was postponed until August 21 to allow for a social work report and an evaluation for a restriction of liberty order.
