In a disturbing revelation, a survivor has come forward to speak out about the sexual abuse he endured at the hands of his former primary school teacher and football coach, Peter Jones.The incidents, which have remained hidden for decades, took place in Bradford during the 1970s, and Jones, now 71 years old, has been held accountable for his actions.
Peter Jones, a resident of Sulby Grove in Bradford, was charged with multiple serious offenses.
He pleaded guilty to four counts of indecent assault and inciting an act of gross indecency.
These offenses occurred over a span of several years, specifically between 1973 and 1977, during which Jones exploited his position of trust to prey on vulnerable children.
Further details reveal that Jones admitted to sexually assaulting another boy when he was between the ages of seven and eight, with these incidents taking place from May 1972 to May 1974.
In addition to these assaults, Jones also confessed to possessing indecent images of children, highlighting a disturbing pattern of predatory behavior.
The grooming process began when Jones targeted a young boy who was just seven years old.
This boy was placed in Jones’s class at Primrose Hill School, located in Pudsey, Leeds.
Jones manipulated the child by making him the “teacher’s pet,” a tactic often used to establish a sense of closeness and trust.
In an effort to deepen his influence, Jones also ingratiated himself with the boy’s family, further solidifying his access and control.
The abuse reportedly started within the classroom environment when the victim was only ten years old.

In sentencing, Jones was given a suspended prison term.
