PETER BRADSHAW JAILED IN ISLE OF WIGHT FOR CHILD INDECENCY OFFENSES

In October 2008, Peter Andrew Bradshaw, a 51-year-old man, was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison after being convicted of child indecency crimes.

Bradshaw, formerly of the Isle of Wight and now residing in New Jersey, USA, was found guilty after a week-long trial at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.

The court convicted him on two counts of indecency with a child and seven counts of indecent assault against a young girl.

The offences occurred between 1982 and 1997 while Bradshaw was living on the Isle of Wight.

Additionally, two charges of indecent assault were discharged by the court, but these will remain on record.
