PAUL FLACK FROM SHEERNESS CAUGHT IN SHOCKING ONLINE PAEDOPHILE STING IN MAIDSTONE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Sheerness, Paul Flack, a 41-year-old man known locally and online as Rudeboyz, was caught in a live online sting operation conducted by a dedicated paedophile hunting group. The incident unfolded on November 10 of the previous year, when Flack was filmed outside his residence in Sheerness, appearing disheveled and dressed only in brightly colored pyjama bottoms. The operation was initiated after Flack failed to meet an arranged rendezvous at a nearby train station in Maidstone, prompting the online team to visit his home based on information he had voluntarily provided during previous chats.During the confrontation, which was recorded and later shared on social media platforms, Flack was led to a quiet area outside his property for a series of intense and revealing exchanges. The footage, nearly thirty minutes long, shows Flack in a subdued state, initially denying any inappropriate intentions. However, as the chat logs are displayed, he admits to sending explicit images and videos, including five photographs of his genitals and five videos of masturbation. The decoy, posing as a 13-year-old girl, had engaged Flack in conversations that included requests for her to wear tights and bring dirty underwear, with Flack expressing sexual interest in these fetishes.
Despite his claims that his interest was solely in women wearing tights and that he was not attracted to children, the evidence presented during the operation indicated otherwise. Flack also claimed he had not been in contact with any other minors, but the online team revealed that there had been interactions with four other decoys. The chat logs showed Flack attempting to initiate sexual conversations with the supposed minor, and in one chilling exchange, he expressed a desire to have sex with her once he learned her age. When confronted with this, Flack admitted to doing 'stupid things' but insisted he had no intention of meeting the girl in person. He stated, 'I should have left it and told her ‘I am going, you are too young’,' and apologized for his actions.
Throughout the footage, a woman off-camera, believed to be Flack’s then-partner, can be heard warning him, 'Don’t ever, ever come near me and my children.' Flack responded dismissively, suggesting they should end their relationship, and asked if he could retrieve his belongings from the house. The entire incident culminated in Flack’s arrest and subsequent court proceedings.
On March 13, at Maidstone Crown Court, Judge Charles Macdonald QC sentenced Flack to nine months in prison. The judge emphasized the importance of punishment, public protection, and deterrence, stating, 'The sentence must punish you, protect the public, and deter others. That can only be achieved by immediate custody.'
Flack was also placed on the sex offenders’ register for ten years, barred from working with children under 16 and vulnerable adults, and was subject to a sexual harm prevention order. The court’s decision reflects the serious nature of his offenses and the community’s need for safety and justice in the face of such disturbing conduct.
