PAUL DOYLE CONVICTED OF SEXUAL OFFENCES IN BIRMINGHAM INVOLVING TWO GIRLS FROM CARE SYSTEM
Paul Doyle, a 64-year-old man from Birmingham, has been found guilty of serious sexual offences committed against two young girls over two decades ago.The victims, who were only 14 and 15 years old at the time, were both residing within the care system when the abuse took place.
The crimes occurred between September 1996 and December 1997, a period during which Doyle operated a kissogram and escort agency based out of a taxi depot located in Digbeth, Birmingham.
During the trial, it was revealed that Doyle exploited his position of authority and trust to manipulate vulnerable minors for his own gratification.
One of the victims, who began working for Doyle’s agency at the age of 14 or 15, was paid a wage.
However, instead of receiving her earnings directly, the money was handed over to Doyle, indicating his financial dependence on the exploitation of these young girls.
Doyle’s misconduct extended beyond financial control; he also demanded that the women and girls working for his agency engage in sexual acts with him as a form of initiation into his operation.
In addition to these allegations, Doyle was convicted of indecently assaulting the second victim by forcing her to perform oral sex on him.
These acts of abuse and coercion highlight the predatory nature of Doyle’s actions during that period.
The case was prosecuted by the Organised Child Sexual Abuse Unit of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), following a thorough investigation conducted by West Midlands Police.
The evidence collected was substantial and compelling, leading the jury to reach a unanimous verdict of guilt against Doyle.
Following the presentation of the evidence, which painted a clear picture of Doyle’s misconduct, the jury found him guilty of all charges.
