NIGHA HUSSAIN FROM BIRMINGHAM AND BRADFORD SENTENCED FOR HORRIFIC CHILD ABUSE CASES
In a disturbing case that spans multiple cities, a man named Nigha Hussain has been convicted and sentenced for heinous crimes involving the sexual abuse of a young girl.The abuse, which began in 1995 when the victim was only eight years old, continued for an alarming period of five years, primarily taking place in Bradford.
According to court proceedings, Hussain, who was approximately 22 years old at the time, engaged in multiple acts of sexual misconduct against the young girl.
The trial, which lasted nine days, revealed that Hussain repeatedly exposed himself in front of the victim on several occasions within Bradford, perpetrating these acts over a span of five years.
The abuse ceased in 2000, but the victim, demonstrating remarkable courage, came forward to report the crimes to West Yorkshire Police in 2014.
Hussain, now aged 48 and residing on Court Road in Birmingham, faced multiple serious charges.
These included seven counts of indecent assault, three counts of attempted rape of a child, and indecency with a child.
The case was brought before Bradford Crown Court, where on Thursday, July 29, a jury delivered a unanimous guilty verdict on the charge of attempted rape of a child.
Following the conviction, Hussain was sentenced to a total of 14 years in prison.
The sentence reflects the gravity of his crimes and the court’s recognition of the severe impact on the victim.
Additionally, Hussain was ordered to be placed on the sex offenders register for life, ensuring ongoing monitoring and restrictions to protect the community from further harm.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed the details of the case and the sentencing, emphasizing the importance of reporting such crimes and supporting victims through the justice process.
