May 2014 Pervert jailed for sexual offences against child A Bedale man has been jailed for a total of 58 months at Teeside crown court for sexually grooming a 14 year old girl. Former Thirsk hotel manager Nicholas Fulton Jarmaine was convicted of several charges which include – Two counts of making indecent images of children – 30 months imprisonment concurrent Possession of a classed B drug – 16 months imprisonment consecutive Adult meeting a girl under the age of 16 years old, following grooming – 27 months imprisonment Jarmaine was placed on the sex offenders register for 5 years. He was prohibited by the court to meet or arrange to meet, or remain in the company of any female child under the age of 16 years old He was also prohibited from contacting or attempting to contact either directly or indirectly any female child aged under 16 years old, by any means – Including, writing, text message telephone or electronic means (computer – internet) Nicholas Jarmaine was restricted from owning or possessing any electrical device capable of accessing the internet unless – he makes available that device for inspection by a police officer; and he does not use any facility to hide or delete his web browser or internet history  Finally ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £120
