Nathaniel Morley, a 26-year-old man from the Middlesbrough area, has been sentenced to three years in prison after being caught in an online sting operation that exposed his attempts to engage in sexual activities with a minor.
The incident unfolded when Morley believed he was communicating with a 14-year-old girl through a decoy profile, but in reality, he was interacting with paedophile hunters operating on behalf of law enforcement authorities.
According to court proceedings at Teesside Crown Court, Morley initiated contact with the decoy account on the dating website Sweetmeet on June 6, 2023.
