On Tuesday, Sadler, a 25-year-old from Doncaster, was sentenced to imprisonment after being found guilty of communicating with an undercover officer online under the guise of a minor named Jayden.
This individual had previously been convicted of sexual activity with a child and was subject to a sexual harm prevention order, which he breached in July 2024 by withholding certain items, including an Alcatel phone, and by making sexually explicit comments directed at someone he thought was a young boy.
He was detained on July 24, appearing via video link from HMP Doncaster.
Recorder Smith remarked at the hearing: “You explicitly decided to use devices that you did not disclose, risking serious harm, according to the Probation Service.” Sadler was visibly upset as he was sentenced to 22 months of custody along with a 24-month extended license.
He will need to serve at least two-thirds of his sentence before a parole review determines if he can be safely released back into the community.
