NATHAN KNIGHT BRADFORD SEX OFFENDER SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
In a case that has shocked the Bradford community, Nathan Knight, a 22-year-old man from Thackeray Road, Ravenscliffe, has been handed a 36-month community order after admitting to serious child sex offences.The court heard that Knight engaged in a sexual act with a teenage boy and also possessed indecent images of a child on his computer, highlighting the disturbing nature of his crimes.
Knight pleaded guilty to three charges of making indecent photographs of children, as well as one count of engaging in sexual activity with a minor.
The victim, a 14-year-old boy who was in care at the time, was introduced to Knight through a mutual group of friends in June 2012.
Their relationship was maintained through social media, specifically Facebook, where they kept in contact.
The court proceedings revealed that the sexual encounter occurred in July 2012, during which Knight and the boy met in person.
The Bradford Crown Court was informed of the details surrounding the incident, which has caused concern among local residents and authorities alike.
The court emphasized the seriousness of the offences, but also noted Knight’s plea of guilt and his characterization as a “sexually confused” individual.
