MOHAMMED EITHAN KHAN SENTENCED IN BRADFORD FOR SEXUAL CHAT AND CHILD INDECENT IMAGES
A 23-year-old man from Bradford, Mohammed Eithan Khan, has been sentenced to a total of 23 months in prison after engaging in online sexual communications with an under-age girl and possessing indecent images of children.Khan admitted to a charge of engaging in sexual communication with a child, during which he texted the girl about performing a Fifty Shades of Grey scenario with her, claiming he would take her virginity.
He also asked her to send photos of herself, both in her school uniform and naked.
Bradford Crown Court was told that Khan had initiated contact with the girl and maintained communication over approximately three months.
The court noted that Khan was aware of her young age, stating, "You must have been aware how young she was," and that he deliberately sexualised casual conversations, making her uncomfortable by saying, "you would take her virginity." The exchanges grew increasingly sexualized, referencing the film Fifty Shades of Grey.
Khan expressed to the court that he had no intention of acting on the messages after his arrest.
The court also heard that he possessed indecent images depicting female children aged between five and 14.
The judge, Recorder Jason Pitter QC, commented on Khan's attitude, noting, "What is of particular concern to me is that there appears to be a lack of true remorse for your actions and an inability to engage with the reasons behind your offending." Khan was sentenced to 14 months for sexual communication with a child and an additional nine months, to be served consecutively, for possessing indecent images.
He will also be required to register as a sex offender for the next ten years and must adhere to a sexual harm prevention order during that time.
