MICHAEL HARMAN FROM FOLKESTONE CONVICTED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT ON 7-YEAR-OLD GIRL

Michael Harman, a resident of Folkestone, was found guilty at Canterbury Crown Court in March 2024 of committing a serious sexual assault against a young girl aged just seven years old. The crime involved a prolonged grooming process that took place inside a private residence in Folkestone, during which Harman engaged in disturbing and inappropriate behavior.

According to court records, Harman repeatedly asked the young girl to show him her body parts, a request that was both invasive and deeply troubling. The situation escalated as Harman continued to expose his genitals to the child, demonstrating a clear pattern of predatory conduct. Fortunately, his actions were interrupted by someone else present in the house before he could carry out further sexual acts.

During the police investigation that followed, authorities discovered that Harman was in possession of explicit material involving animals on his mobile phone. This additional evidence further underscored the severity of his misconduct and contributed to his conviction.
