AYR MAN FACES SERIOUS CHARGES OVER INDECENT IMAGES AND BESTIALITY CONTENT
A man named Mark Stratton has been charged with possessing indecent images of children and bestiality content.It is alleged that he had the content at his home address in Ayr's Ivy Place for more than a decade.
Stratton is accused of taking, permitting to be taken, or making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children between July 23, 2011, and August 4, 2023.
Additionally, he is charged with possessing the same images over the same period.
Prosecutors also claim that he possessed extreme pornographic images depicting animals and humans engaging in sexual activity together, in a realistic manner.
The case was scheduled for a hearing at Ayr Sheriff Court on June 18, but was further deferred with no plea, and Stratton is due to face the charges later.
