Newton, aged 27 and residing in Aston, Birmingham, faced his day in court at Wolverhampton Crown Court on July 26.
Following a comprehensive trial, he was found guilty on several serious charges, including two counts of raping a child under the age of 13, one count of sexually assaulting a child under 13, and three counts of rape.
In addition to his prison sentence, Newton was ordered to be placed on the sex offenders register for life, reflecting the severity of his crimes and the ongoing risk he poses to the community.
