HEARTBREAK, ANGER AND NIGHT SWEATS FOR VICTIM AS CHILD CRUELTY COUPLE RELEASED FROM JAIL
A couple who subjected children to horrific physical and psychological abuse, have been released from prison.Lorna Dennington, 49, is living in a hostel in an undisclosed location, after serving half of her four-year-10-month sentence.
Lorna hit the children if they did not carry out their household chores to an exact standard.
She scrubbed one child with an abrasive washing up pad in the bath and she dragged a girl down the stairs by her hair, after finding out she had gone for a haircut whilst visiting her mother.
The child was then pushed in the bath and slapped.
She made one girl who could not finish her dinner eat it off the floor after she was sick.
When one of the children accidently dropped a cup in the kitchen, she lined them all up and repeatedly slapped them in the face until one of them admitted being responsible.
Lorna's solicitor told Teesside Crown Court that her client had been diagnosed with emotionally unstable personality disorder.
Lorna is now under licence conditions until 2027.
