AYR MAN ACCUSED OF THREATENING AND HARASSING EX PARTNER FAILS TO APPEAR IN COURT
A MAN who allegedly threatened and harassed his ex and filmed her without her consent failed to appear in court.Logan Thomas Graham was expected to face allegations of engaging in a course of behaviour that was abusive towards his partner or ex-partner between April 1, 2022, and April 30, 2023, at addresses in Ayr, Glasgow, and elsewhere.
The 22-year-old is accused of forcing the woman to use location tracking on her mobile device to monitor her movements, repeatedly demanding to know who she was with, and accusing her of infidelity.
Court papers state that Graham, of Mainsord Avenue, Drongan, repeatedly sent her an excessive number of social media messages and texts and made many phone calls.
He allegedly called her abusive and derogatory names, and threatened to kill himself if she ended the relationship.
He is also accused of threatening violence towards her family and friends.
On one occasion, he is said to have seized her mobile to monitor her social media, refused to return it when asked, and shouted and swore at her while slamming a car door.
Further, Graham is alleged to have recorded video footage of himself and the woman performing sexual acts without her consent and refused to delete it when asked.
He also purportedly made threats of violence if she revealed her pregnancy and requested her to 'pay you monies as third parties were threatening violence to her and her unborn child.' A warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to appear in Ayr Sheriff Court, with no vouching provided for his claim of being on a fishing boat.
