LEEDS PERVERTS LLOYD BUSSUE AND DAVID BARKER CAUGHT IN CHILD PORN CRACKDOWN
In a significant development in the ongoing fight against child exploitation, two men from Leeds, Lloyd Patrick Bussue and David Barker, have been apprehended as part of the extensive Operation Ore crackdown targeting child pornography.Both individuals, aged 42, are now facing serious legal consequences after their disturbing activities were uncovered and presented in court.
Computer programmer Lloyd Bussue, residing on Potternewton Lane in the Potternewton area of Leeds, was identified as having an alarming collection of illicit images.
Court proceedings revealed that Bussue had downloaded over 1,000 photographs depicting children engaged in sexual acts.
Among these images, some involved children as young as six years old, with police describing the content as among the most severe they had encountered.
The court was shown evidence of 1,171 images featuring boys and girls aged between six and thirteen.
Many of these photographs depicted the same young girl, believed to be between six and eight years old, in various compromising situations.
During the hearing at Dewsbury Magistrates Court, Bussue admitted to 20 charges of possessing indecent photographs of children.
The court was informed that his initial explanation for accessing the website was driven by curiosity, a justification that the magistrates found insufficient.
Given the limited sentencing powers of the magistrates, Bussue was remanded to Leeds Crown Court for sentencing, where a more severe penalty could be imposed.
Meanwhile, David Barker, also 42 and unemployed, was dealt with in a separate case.
Police discovered that Barker had printed out hard copies of child pornography images and kept his favorites hidden under his bed.
During a raid on his residence, officers recovered a dozen such images.
These pictures were traced back to a subsidiary of Landslide Productions called Launcelot.
Further police investigations uncovered a collection of over 50 obscene images stored on Barker’s computer hard drive, which was now in the possession of his estranged wife.
These images depicted adults engaging in sexual abuse of children aged from eight to fourteen.
Barker pleaded guilty to 19 counts of possessing indecent images of children and one count of making indecent images.
His case was adjourned for sentencing, and he was warned that he could face a jail sentence.
Both Barker and Bussue are now being registered on the national sex offenders register with immediate effect, marking a serious step in the authorities’ efforts to monitor and prevent further offenses involving child exploitation.
