A deaf man identified as Linley Hassan, hailing from Kendal, has been handed a six-month prison sentence after being convicted of sexually assaulting a teenage girl aboard a train traveling through the scenic Lake District. Linley Hassan, aged 26, is profoundly deaf and unable to speak, which added complexity to the case.
