Amlwch  Sexual Abuser

January 2017 Anglesey paedophile jailed again after being caught in young girl’s bedroom A convicted paedophile has been jailed again for breaching a court order by having unsupervised contact with a girl in her bedroom. Lewis Ashley Gibson, 36, of Queen Street, Amlwch , breached the sexual offences prevention order by having unsupervised contact and living in a house where there were children. At Caernarfon Crown Court today, he admitted the two offences and pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to notify authorities of a change of address. Handing him a two-year jail term, Judge Huw Rees said he was satisfied the terms of the orders and their restrictions had been spelt out to him by the probation service. “The orders were made to protect children,” he said. “I have to consider whether the breaches pose a risk, and the answer to that is yes. “You had contact with a teenage girl, albeit for a short time, when you should not.” The judge heard the orders had been made in January 2013, when Gibson was jailed for 18 months for making and possessing indecent images of children. Prosecutor David Mainstone said it was the second time Gibson had breached the order. He had also been brought before a judge in October 2014, when he was jailed for 12 months. Mr Mainstone said the terms of the order, which was imposed for seven years, prevented unsupervised contact with any child under 16 without the parent’s consent and in the knowledge of his conviction. The order also prevented Gibson from living in a house where children resided under the same terms. Mr Mainstone said that, last year, Gibson formed a relationship with a woman who lived near Caernarfon. From about July, he spent a lot of time at her property, which had access to a house where two children lived. Gibson had not told police of the change in address. “In October last year, he had unsupervised contact with a child for about 15-20 minutes during which he was in her bedroom showing her card tricks,” said Mr Mainstone. No offences took place but the terms of the order were breached, the court heard.
