LEROY STERLING SENTENCED TO LIFE IN PRISON FOR MURDER IN WEST BROMWICH
Leroy Sterling, a 63-year-old man from West Bromwich, has been handed a life sentence after being convicted of the brutal murder of his former girlfriend, Wendy Mann, who was only 26 years old.The tragic incident unfolded at Miss Mann's flat in West Bromwich, where Sterling was found guilty of strangling her to death following the discovery that she was involved with another man.
Initially, Sterling denied any involvement in the crime, claiming that others might have been responsible.

Among the key pieces of evidence were dried footprints found on a mopped floor inside Miss Mann's apartment, which linked Sterling directly to the scene of the crime.
