November 2018 Downham man admits multiple exposure offences A flasher charged with four offences asked for five others to be taken into consideration. Lee Matthew Davidoff, 49, twice exposed himself to the same complainant and on another occasion to a woman with her two young children. Lynn magistrates heard yesterday that on March 31 this year a woman received a message request on Facebook with Davidoff saying: “I’m looking for a partner.” Josephine Jones, prosecuting, said the recipient replied, thinking she’d made it obvious that she wasn’t interested but Davidoff then sent a picture of him exposing himself and. The recipient swore in her reply, to which Davidoff, of James Scott Close, Downham, responded: “So that’s a no then?” On September 28, Davidoff went to a neighbour’s house and when she answered the door he was standing with his trousers open and his penis exposed. He later sent a letter of apology and said he would be moving, the court heard. On the same day Davidoff exposed himself to a 17-year-old girl in an alleyway at Downham’s railway station car park. “She had to squeeze past”, said Miss Jones. “Then at another entrance she saw the defendant again and he exposed himself again. He waved at her.” Miss Jones said the five other instances which Davidoff admitted to included one to a mum who had two young children with her. In interview, Davidoff told police that he was on medication for depression. He pleaded quilty to three charges of exposing himself and one charge of sending an indecent image via a public communications network. Mitigating, Ruth Johnson said: “He assures me there has been no further offending since these.” Davidoff will be sentenced on November 30 following a pre-sentence report. He remains on conditional bail.
