BLACKBURN TEEN TO STAND TRIAL OVER INDECENT IMAGES
A Blackburn teenager named Kyle Rowson, aged 19, is scheduled to stand trial after denying charges related to possessing and making indecent images of a child.He appeared at Preston Crown Court on September 1, facing multiple allegations that include three counts of making indecent images of a child, one count of distributing an indecent image of a child, one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image, one count of publishing an obscene article, and one count of possessing a prohibited image of a child.
Rowson, from Fern Crescent, entered not guilty pleas to all seven counts.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between 2023 and 2024 in Blackburn.
He was bailed and the trial is scheduled to take place between September 21 and 24, 2026.
The case is linked to serious sexual offences involving indecent images of minors.
