In a case that has shocked the Wirral community, Kristian Timmerman, a 32-year-old man originally from Holland, was sentenced to 22 months in prison for grooming a young girl in Wirral.
The disturbing case came to light after Timmerman traveled from the Netherlands to the Wirral area, where he targeted a 12-year-old girl over a period of several months.
