LEEDS MAN JAILED FOR BRUTAL MURDER OF WOMAN
A 32-year-old man from Athlone Grove, identified as Kileo Mbega, has received a sentence of no less than 15 years in prison following his conviction for the murder of Sarah Henshaw.The 40-year-old victim was found dead at her apartment in the Redcourt building in the Armley area of Leeds on 11 February.
Mbega admitted to the murder during his appearance at Leeds Crown Court but rejected a fraud charge, which remains on the case record.
Legal documents show that Mbega’s actions caused Ms.
Henshaw’s death, resulting in a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years before parole eligibility.
