When the child’s mother came to pick him up, he disclosed what had happened, which resulted in his hospitalization and the subsequent arrest of Shazad early the next day.
The child's mother told the court that the boy has been significantly impacted by the incident, exhibiting mood swings and erratic behavior.
Shazad, who recently married and is a father to a three-month-old, was employed as a barber but lost his business while in custody.
Although he admitted to the offence, his defense argued that he found it difficult to comprehend his actions.
