TEEN GIRL 'KEPT THINKING I WAS GOING TO DIE' DURING BOLTON FLAT ASSAULT
A teenage girl informed police that she kept thinking she was going to die after being allegedly raped and sexually assaulted by Sultani Bakatash inside his apartment.She explained feeling "trapped" throughout the assault.
Bakatash, aged 29, denies two counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration, and one charge of sexual assault.
Court proceedings included footage of police interviews in which the girl described feeling "trapped" and fearing for her life.
She also recounted meeting Bakatash after exchanging messages on Snapchat, that she was intoxicated at the time, and that she fled the flat, leaving behind personal items.
The jury heard her describe how Bakatash "seized the opportunity to rape and abuse" her while she was intoxicated.
The case remains ongoing, with Bakatash denying all charges.
