BRADFORD POLICE OFFICER JAILED FOR CHILD ABUSE
Four men have been found guilty of numerous charges related to the sexual abuse and exploitation of a young girl in Bradford during the early 2000s.The victim, referred to as Anna for privacy, was between 13 and 15 years old when the abuse took place between 2002 and 2004.
The case was reopened in 2019 after Anna came forward to report the incidents.
These convictions are part of a larger investigation involving nine men who have already received a combined prison sentence of 104 years.
Among those convicted today is 39-year-old Khurram Iqbal from Bradford, who was convicted of indecent assault and is currently awaiting sentencing.
Anna shared how the abuse affected her life and spoke about the trauma she experienced.
Detective Chief Inspector Vicky Greenbank praised Anna’s bravery and stressed the importance of reporting such crimes.
