In a startling development, Keven Appo, a rugby league player from Halifax who was facing serious criminal allegations, has managed to escape the United Kingdom shortly after being granted conditional bail. Appo, aged 25 and formerly a player for the Bradford Bulls, appeared before Bradford Magistrates' Court on Monday, where he was granted bail under specific conditions. She also revealed that Appo was scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on that Monday morning, but he was no longer present in the UK. It was further noted that Appo had handed over his house and car keys to the manager of the rugby club, a move that might have been intended to comply with bail conditions, but it did not prevent his departure.
