January 2014 – UPDATE: Thomas Parker has been jailed for 28 years Fifty-nine year old Thomas PARKER has today, Friday 17 January 2014 at Warwick Crown Court been sentenced to 28 years in prison for two historic rapes and an indecent assault November 2013 Pervert twin raped six-year-old Midland girl Paedophiles Thomas Parker and twin brother Kenneth were on the most wanted list A paedophile twin has been remanded in custody after being convicted of raping a six year-old girl more than 30 years ago. But Thomas Parker’s brother Kenneth was cleared of sexually abusing the same girl after a jury at Warwick Crown Court heard he was in prison at the time. He was released by the Prison Service. The twins were at the centre of an international manhunt two years ago when the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) were put on a list of the UK’s most wanted criminals. They were traced to France and sent back to prison. The twins, who are originally from Nuneaton, had both denied all the charges against them in their latest trial which could not previously be reported. The jury found Thomas Parker, aged 58, who has been living in Quillan, France, guilty of two charges of raping the girl and one of indecently assaulting her. But the jury found Kenneth Parker, also 58, of St Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex, not guilty of indecently assaulting the girl. A pre-sentence report is now being prepared on Thomas, whose previous convictions included one in 1998 for indecently assaulting a girl, for which he was jailed for four years. Kenneth had been jailed for three years in 2005 for child indecency offences. During the trial prosecutor Anthony Potter had told the jury it was alleged the offences took place in 1980 at a time when the Parker twins lived in Nuneaton. The victim did not report the rape to police until the beginning of this year, despite telling others about it previously. Mr Potter told the jury: “It will become immediately evident to you that she could remember very clearly particular aspects of Thomas Parker; the fact that he was a ginger-haired man with pale skin and tattoos. “She could remember him appearing at the house one day without warning. She could remember being scared to death of him, and she could recall an aura of menace in the house when he was there.” Neither of the twins gave evidence, but the court heard that Thomas had made a prepared statement in which he made ‘an absolute denial of any abuse’. Walter Bealby, for Kenneth, pointed out that the accused had been jailed at Warwick Crown Court on December 20, 1979 for four years for burgling a shed at a quarry and possessing explosives taken from there for an unlawful purpose, poaching; so would have been in prison throughout 1980. Thomas and Kenneth were hunted across Europe in 2011 after they breached conditions of the sex offenders’ register and CEOP described them as “high risk sexual offenders”. They were extradited back to Britain after the appeal. Kenneth was jailed for two years for failing to notify the authorities he was travelling abroad His brother Thomas was sentenced to 22 months in prison. The pair are believed to have joined the French Foreign Legion before turning up in Quillan posing as out-of-work builders. September 2012 Sickest sight…paedo twin back on streets and ogling little girl – The Sun CHILD sex beast Kenneth Parker stares menacingly at a toddler months after his release from jail on parole. We tracked the paedophile to a halfway house on the South Coast, 18 months after we helped bring him to justice. But wicked Parker — who with his twin Thomas has a string of convictions for attacks on kids — is able to roam streets freely near children and young mums. The Sun watched as the former soldier and mercenary sat at a table in Brighton’s Royal Pavilion gardens leering at a little blonde girl. And we followed as the pervert wandered through the city staring at mums with prams. Free to roam … paedo Kenneth Parker Claude Knights from charity Kidscape said: “It’s most disturbing that a notorious paedophile, who should be monitored very closely, has been found to be spending time in parks and playgrounds where unsuspecting children will be enjoying often unsupervised time. “The MAPPA arrangements should be ensuring that this is not allowed to happen.” Parker, 57, then visited a library where he looked through a series of military books and chatted to members of staff. He is allowed out of the halfway house from 8am to 8pm. The building is on Brighton’s busy seafront. A source revealed: “He’s living the life of Riley. He’s got a lovely room looking over the seafront and the beach. He gets what money he can and says he sends it back to his wife in France. “He’s been studying EU law because he thinks he’s been treated wrongly and shouldn’t have been deported from his home in France to the UK. “He loves talking about his days in the Army. “Mainly he goes out and does a bit of running. He goes off to the library and goes on the computers to do his research. Other than that he goes out and walks about the town.” Parker and twisted brother Thomas were on the run for ten years in Europe after breaking their Sexual Offence Registration notification requirements. But a Sun investigation helped track them to the small French town of Quillan in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The pair were arrested by French cops and returned to Britain. Kenneth Parker — who has numerous tattoos — was jailed for breaching his notification requirements and released from Maidstone Prison three months ago. He had been convicted in 2005 of gross indecency with a boy under 16, indecently assaulting a girl under 16 and another indecent assault of a teenage boy. Thomas has convictions dating back to 1998 for an indecent assault of a girl under 14. He committed similar offences in France. The twins are also said to have a string of convictions for non-sexual offences. The pair, from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, are believed to have joined the French Foreign Legion before turning up in Quillan posing as out-of-work builders.
