MAN JAILED FOR RAPE AND SEXUAL ABUSE OF 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL
A man from Brighton, aged 37, has received a 15-year prison sentence after being convicted of raping and sexually assaulting a young girl.
Teo Tewson-Bozic, residing on Buckingham Street, gained the girl’s trust before engaging in repeated sexual abuse throughout 2024.
The victim disclosed the abuse to her family, who reported the matter to authorities through her school.
Following his arrest, Tewson-Bozic was supported by specialist officers alongside his victim’s family.
He faced multiple charges, including five counts of sexual activity with a minor, four counts of assault by penetration, and two counts of rape.
During court hearings held in May 2025 at Lewes Crown Court, the defendant admitted to all charges related to sexual activity with a child but denied the other allegations.
However, in October of the same year, he was convicted on all remaining counts.
On 17 April, he was sentenced at Brighton Crown Court to 15 years in prison, with an additional two years on extended licence.
He was also issued a 25-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and registered as a sex offender.
