NOTTINGHAM PAEDOPHILE ADMITS POSSESSION OF HUGE VOLUME OF SICK CHILD ABUSE IMAGES
A paedophile from Nottingham has admitted to possessing what a magistrate called “a huge volume” of sick child abuse images.Joseph Jackson’s collection of vile material included almost 100 of the most serious category A pictures and videos.
The 49-year-old carried out the offences when he lived in Wallett Avenue, Beeston, but he gave an Arnold address to Nottingham Magistrates’ Court when he entered his guilty pleas.
Now his case has been sent to Nottingham Crown Court in March where he can expect to be sent to prison for his perverted offending.
The chair of the bench said: “Due to the huge volume of photos and videos here all matters will be sent to the crown court.” This week Jackson, now of Firth Close, pleaded to: Making 96 category A indecent images of children Making 57 category B indecent images of children Making 79 category C indecent images of children Possessing six prohibited images of children Possessing 75 extreme pornographic images The final charge involves people engaged in sex acts with live animals.
Prosecutor Caroline Wilson told the hearing that the defendant made full admission to the police about what he had done once the images had been downloaded and analysed from his phone and tablet which were seized by the police last spring.
He will be sentenced on March 14.
