BOLTON PAEDOPHILE JOHN HAWLEY'S COURTCASE POSTPONED
The sentencing of Bolton paedophile John Hawley, aged 38, has been postponed.Hawley admitted to letting two other paedophiles, including former deputy headteacher Patrick Lennon, watch him sexually abuse a three-year-old girl via webcam.
The court heard that Hawley and Lennon, aged 59, who worked at Greenbank High School in Southport, were due to be sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court, but the hearing was adjourned due to the late receipt of a psychiatric report and a illness of a probation officer.
It was further revealed that Lennon encouraged Hawley to assault the child while Lennon and third paedophile Phillip Skitt, aged 54 of Wigan, watched via webcam.
Lennon pleaded guilty to multiple charges including encouraging or assisting Hawley, possessing extreme pornography, and making indecent images of children.
Hawley admitted to raping the child three times, while Lennon was convicted of encouraging the abuse, possessing indecent images, and voyeurism.
Skitt, known to Lennon and Hawley, also admitted charges related to encouraging abuse and indecent images.
The men are scheduled for sentencing on October 4.
